1. Insert an Image into Your Slide
To start, insert an image into your Google Slides presentation. Click on “Insert” in the menu bar at the top of the screen. From the dropdown menu, select “Image,” then choose the source of your logo (e.g., “Upload from computer”).
In our example below, locate and insert the Nike logo image into your slide. For example, if your logo file is named “nike_logo.png,” select this file and click “Open” to insert it.
2. Select the Image
Ensure the Nike logo image is selected. Click on the Nike logo image to select it. You should see handles (small blue squares) around the edges of the image which indicates it is selected and ready for formatting.
3. Access Format Options
Access the format options to modify the transparency of the Nike logo. Right-click on the selected Nike logo image. From the context menu, select “Format options.”
Then, a sidebar will appear on the right side of the screen, showing various formatting options. For example, you will see options like “Size & rotation,” “Position,” and “Recolor.”
4. Adjust Image Transparency
Adjust the transparency of the Nike logo image to make it see-through. In the Format Options sidebar, find the “Adjustments” section. Under this section, you will see a “Opacity” slider. Slide it to the right to increase the transparency of the logo.
5. Confirm Transparency Changes
