Can You Shuffle Slides in Google Slides?

Yes, you can shuffle slides in Google Slides by rearranging them manually.

How to Randomize Google Slides

To shuffle slides in Google Slides, we will use a presentation titled “Innovations in Renewable Energy.” Follow the steps below.

1. Switch to Grid View to See All Slides

To better manage your slides, click on the “Viewmenu and choose “Grid view” from the options.

2. Rearrange Slides by Dragging and Dropping

Click and hold the thumbnail of the slide you want to move, then drag it to the new position and release the mouse button to drop it there. In our example, we want to interchange the “Wind Energy Technology” slide and the “Solar Power Advancements” slide.

We will now see that the ‘Wind Energy Technology’ slide precedes the ‘Solar Power Advancements’ slide.

3. Return to Normal View for Editing

After you’ve reordered the slides, switch back to the detailed editing mode by clicking on ‘Grid view‘ in the ‘View’ menu once more to deselect it.

This will return the presentation to ‘Normal view‘, allowing you to continue making precise edits to each slide.

We hope that you now have a better understanding of how to randomize Google Slides. If you enjoyed this article, you might also like our articles on how to comment on Google Slides and how to add a header in Google Slides.
